Compt. SJ Bomoi has officially taken over from Comptroller NP Burromvyat as the new Customs Area Controller of FCT Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).

Bomoi is one of the Customs Comptroller who were recently redeployed by the Comptroller General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (rtd) on 8th of February,2022.

Prior to his appointment, Compt. SJ Bomoi served under various capacity including; CIU Team Manager for 8 years, Ag. CAC IMO/ABIA and Customs Controller Transport and Logistics at the Service Headquarters.

During a brief handing and taking over ceremony that took place in the Command’s Conference Hall with stakeholders present, the outgoing CAC, Compt. NP Burromvyat welcomed Compt. SJ Bomoi to FCT Area Command while commending Officers and Men of the Command for the cooperation and support accorded her.

She urged them to extend the same support to the incoming Comptroller.

 

In his speech, he thanked the outgoing Comptroller and commended her for the precedent she has set at the Command.

The new CAC promised to work with all units while notifying Officers and stakeholders that he operates an open door policy.

He called on the Officers and Men as well as stakeholders to accord him same cooperation they gave Compt. NP Burromvyat adding that he is a man of peace, but will not condone indiscipline.
