Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, (aka) Akuyienwata egwu, has being pronounced as the new president elect of NAGAFF by the founder, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam during his birthday celebration.
Chief Ezisi stated that though his birthday falls on the 5th day of October, but had to mark it on the 6th with colleagues, friends and well wishers at the NAGAFF secretariat, witnessed a huge crowd of people at the venue.
The founder of NAGAFF, Dr. Boniface Okey Aniebonam who is been worried over the years on who will head the association eventually pronounced Chief Ezisi as the new president of NAGAFF with a new set of executive members as he said that the old executive has been dissolved and their tenure starts from the 30th of October.
The occasion witnessed a lot of encomiums being poured on Chief Ezisi for his leadership style and his philanthropy nature
Speaking with the newsmen during the occasion at NAGAFF Secretariat, Chief Ezisi stated that, “I can always go to bed without eating anything any day that I have put smiles on somebody’s face, this is because I will always feel satisfied”.
The man who is the second of fifth children and whose parents were both teachers said that he presently has 268 indigent students on his scholarship scheme and has built 48 bungalow houses for the widows and the needy with 10 more on the pipeline. Chief Ezisi said that his target is to build 200 houses for the widows, the poor and needy and that he will feel highly fulfilled once he can achieve this target.
He noted that by the very nature of generosity, that no matter what he spends as charity in a year, he ends up making more and that this goes with the philosophy that has been instilled in him by his parents that says that “The kindness one gives goes back to him or her”.
The party witnessed a lot of eating and drinking with different kinds of live musical performances by the NAGAFF ambassadors as well as the ‘Ogene’ musical group that thrilled the occasion.
In his goodwill message, a member of the 100% Compliance Team and former Chairman of NAGAFF , Apapa Chapter, Dr. Fred Ajuzie commended the new president, Chief Ezisi as he pledges his support throughout his regime.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected president promised to rebrand the Association in the next two years, adding to carry everybody along as his office will run an open door policy.
Head of NAGAFF 100% Compliance Team, Alhaji Tanko Ibrahim also pledge his full support to the newly elected president, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi.
